Banded Sea Snake - laticauda colubrina
A species of venomous sea snake found in Indo-Pacific waters. The snake has a yellow snout and black stripes on its brilliant, glistening blue body, and a paddle-like tail for swimming. Also known as the banded sea krait or colubrine sea krait. It is deadly poisonous to humans, but encounters are very rare. Location: Alor Island, providence of East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.
