Bluefin Trevally - caranx melampygus
A school of blue fin trevally cruising over a coral reef. Blue-fin trevally are large predatory fish (nearly 4 feet long, about 1.1 m), common in outer reefs, with iridescent silver and blue scales and brilliant blue fins. Other common names include: Blue finned crevalle, Blue ulua, Bluefin jack, Bluefin kingfish, Spotted trevally. Location: Pacific Indian Ocean, Sebayur Island, Indonesia. September 2019.
